While sitting at a picnic table in Marquette IA on the Mississippi River this large barge was traveling up-current. I know nothing about barges. What I do know is that I've never seen a boat push 12 barges at one time...3 rows of 4. I think others were impressed also because several people stopped what they were doing and started to take photos of the large barge.
