SEVEN FALLS

Simply stated, SEVEN FALLS is one of the biggest scenic rip-offs/tourist traps of Colorado, if not the entire West. Colorado is one of the most beautiful states in the U.S and almost all of its sights are free. I felt foolish to spend $18 ($9 per person) to enter the falls area. Skip Seven Falls and spend more time in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Cheyenne, WY

Train Depot

On July 5, 1867 General Grenville M. Dodge and his survey crew chose the current spot of Cheyenne as the point where the Union Pacific railroad would cross Crow Creek. By the time the railroad was finished the area boasted a population of over 4000. The city was named after the American Indian Cheyenne nation which was one of the most prominent of all the Great Plain tribes. As of 2010 census Cheyenne accounted for 59466 persons. The Cheyenne metropolitan area has a population of a little over 90000, making it the 354th most populated metropolitan area in the United States.

Cheyenne is the capitol of Wyoming. The capitol building was built between 1886-1890. The building was designated a national landmark in 1987.

TREATY

And the treaty was written, with each side winning. Both sides would share custody of Black Betty.
