Valley of the Gods is a scenic sandstone valley located in southeastern Utah near Mexican Hat.
I was on my way to Monument Valley and found Valley of the Gods by accident after taking a wrong turn. If you ever find yourself on Hwy 163 in southeast Utah make sure to ask locals about Valley of the Gods. There's a good chance you will be the only person there and you will get to see some outstanding scenery.
The road that treks through Valley of the Gods is all sandstone. Its bumpy at times but if you visit when dry, a normal car or vehicle should be ok.
