Steamboat ~ Louisiana, Missouri

Louisiana, Missouri is located on the Mississippi River just south of Hannibal, MO. THe town is located in Pike County. The town was founded in 1817 by John walter Basye. He named the town after his daughter Louisiana Bayse.

Michine Falls ~ TN

Machine Falls is located near Manchester, TN. The falls are about a mile into a protected forest area. The closer you get to the falls the steeper the trail gets. Above, a timber rattlesnake found near the trail.

Peninsula State Park - WI

Peninsula State Park consists of 3776 acres and has 8 miles of Green Bay shoreline. The park is located in Door County.

Eagle Tower is 72 feet tall and was built in 1932.

Horseshoe Island

               Peninsula State Park is the 3rd largest state park in Wisconsin. The park has 468 campsites, hiking/biking/ski trails, and a lighthouse.                                        

Oneida Trail ~ Wisconsin

The Oneida Trail is an all-purpose trail based in Oneida County~Wisconsin. The trail is paved and is being expanded to reach small communities each year. These photos were taken in May 2012. The trail is smooth and treks through tall pine forests and natural meadows. Main access to the trail is in Saint Germain.

The Vermillion Cliffs is a remote and unspoiled, 280,000-acre Monument, containing a variety of diverse landscapes from the Paria Plateau, Vermilion Cliffs, Coyote Buttes, and Paria Canyon. Elevations range from 3,100 to 7,100 feet.
