Simply stated, SEVEN FALLS is one of the biggest scenic rip-offs/tourist traps of Colorado, if not the entire West. Colorado is one of the most beautiful states in the U.S and almost all of its sights are free. I felt foolish to spend $18 ($9 per person) to enter the falls area. Skip Seven Falls and spend more time in Rocky Mountain National Park.

the $9 is to keep maintain the area and pay inspectors to keep the stairs safe. If you don't like the stairs why would you want to climb? If you think that's too much money, maybe make some with your free time instead of detouring people from something they would enjoy!
