Dead Horse Point State Park ~ Utah

The mesa that is Dead Horse Point State Park, towers 2,000 feet directly above the Colorado River. The park provides breathtaking views of the canyon country of southeastern Utah and the pinnacles and buttes of Canyonlands National Park.

Dead Horse Point is located near Canyonlands National Park. Although the views in Canyonlands are more impressive, Dead Horse Point provides better views of the Colorado River.
