Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is located north of Jackson WY and south of Yellowstone National Park. The above pictures are 3 different views of the Cathedral Peaks of the Teton range.

The Tetons are a great place to hike, explore, and view wildlife. I knew I was in for a treat when while paying the park's admission a large moose walked across the road about 25 feet in front of my vehicle. Later in the day I spotted a mother moose and her baby taking a leisurely dip in a small pond.

Sandhill Cranes

These photos were taken near Waupaca WI. The cranes pictured were just four of a group of ten that were feeding near a cornfield in the hot August sun on a Sunday afternoon.
The other 2 pictures were taken in Big Falls, about 10 miles north of Waupaca. The farm roads around Waupaca supply bicyclists with many enjoyable rides. Most of the miles you ride will be shaded by tall pine trees.
